The focus is primarily on Keith Richards' face and expression. The idea was to emphasize his relationship with the instrument as much as possible, highlighting an almost intimate connection with the guitar and music in general.

The portrait is entirely hand-drawn using mixed media (pencil, pen, and ink) on paper. 
 
This tribute to Keith Richards is part of a series of portraits dedicated to the great icons of 20th-century music. 
 
Along with four other portraits from this series, it was selected for an exhibition at the Hard Rock Cafe in Florence, held on June 14, 2019, to celebrate the anniversary of the venue's opening.
